If you’ve only attempted one origami model in your life, chances are someone tried to teach you the traditional origami crane.
This model has been around for hundreds of years and has been taught across the world. The problem is that this is a pretty tricky model, especially for beginners, so if you had trouble folding it when you were younger- fear not, we are here to help! The hardest parts are the petal folds and then the inside-reverse folds of the head and tail, so be sure to watch the video closely during those sections. There are also a few variations for this traditional model including one that has wings that flap and others that alter various part of the body. Feel free to play around with the basic structure and see what you can come up with!
