I didn’t start paper folding until later in life when I became a stay-at-home-Mother to my two children, Max and Sophie. After I purchased my first Origami bird-making kit, I couldn’t stop folding paper and within the next year I started my own After School Enrichment Program, Origami Mami which is still going strong today. I teach Origami at 9 local Elementary Schools in the East Bay and design most of my own models for each of the weekly projects. In addition, I am a self-published illustrator of my own Coloring Book, “Botanimals-A Coloring Book of Flora and Fauna and enjoy painting and being close to nature.
