Description

Tenu Wrap reimagines the use of the Tenugui, a thin Japanese hand towel. You can fold tenugui like origami to create fruit or vegetable shapes, which children can use for roleplay.  but also you can use it as a tea towel when unraveled.

Tenugui can be used for anything a towel could be used for – as a washcloth, dishcloth, but often as a headband, souvenir, decoration, or for wrapping items such as bottles.

Tenu Wrap Fruits were designed and produced by Ryoei Plan, in Hokkaido.
It was designed in conjunction with a non-profit organization to create jobs for those with perceptual disabilities in order to support self-support living. Each tenugui is hand-dyed by craftsman, and folded in the facility.
